According to the annual plan of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the joint flight-tactical exercises TurAz Qartalı-2017 will kick off on September 18. The air forces of the two countries will take part in the drills. The relevant information is posted on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The exercises will involve up to 30 air vehicles of Azerbaijan and Turkey, including MiG-29, F-16, Su-25, C-130 Herkules and CASA CN-235 aircraft, as well as Mi-35, Mi-17 and Sikorsky S -70 helicopters.
